Go For Glamour Gold in Gaucho Pants!

Some glamour icons would say that gaucho pants go in and out of style. I say that gaucho pants are always in fashion!

Dare to be you! Go fierce! Go fashionable! Go gaucho!

Gaucho pants can be worn as casual wear, lounging wear, office attire, evening wear and as high end apparel. The gaucho pant is definitely one garment in your closet that can be worn for numerous occasions and remain in style during every season, merely by the way that you up dress or down dress your gaucho pants!

Gaucho pants came into their own as a must have fashion garment in the 1970s. Basically, the gaucho pant was a version of the capri pant that was popular in the 1950s and the 1960s.

Gaucho pants generally fit snuggly around the hips, although you can find high waisted gaucho pants, then drape into a super wide flair pant leg, that can end just below the kneecap, calf, or drape all of the way to the ground. Capri pants, on the other hand, are usually form fitting, yet don’t flair widely near the hemline.

One plus of gaucho pants is that they can be worn with all types of shoes and look fantastic. Knee length, calf length and ankle gauchos can be worn with flip flops, sneakers, sandals, heels or boots (both flat and high heeled) and look fabulous, depending on what tops and accessories you add to pull the outfit together.

Change your shoes and you change your style vibe!

For as much as I love clothes, I am not a real window shopper. When I go out to buy new apparel, I usually know what I want and exactly what I am looking for. I will see the entire visual in my mind, all the way from head to toe, and then I will shop until I find precisely what garments I have blended together in my style forward head.

An ensemble that I put together piece by piece, and never tire of, is a pair of of long black gaucho pants that go to the ground, a black lace sleeveless shirt where the hemline stops just below the hips, black heeled stilettos, a black lace choker and long black rhinestone earrings. I wear a large ring on my left hand index finger and dangling silver bracelets on my left arm. I found each piece of the overall outfit separately, yet when worn together, I feel elegant, fashionable and sophisticated all at the same time!

If I were to remove the stilettos and put on ankle boots, and drape my shoulders in a waist coat or a blazer, the same pair of long black gaucho pants would now radiate an entirely different look, much like something that you could would wear to the office or to school.

Warning: Gaucho pants can create such a saucy, snazzy, sassy look that is hard to resist. You may have to watch for stalkers or unwanted admirers!

Like most fashion, gaucho pants are fun, and, they are extremely comfortable to wear. Since the pant leg is loose and flaired, they are simple to walk in and the fabric flows easily as your legs move with each step that you take.
