3. Imagine a straight line from the tip of the nose through the middle of the eye pupil. This is where your eyebrow arch should be.

Eyebrow Threading: Eyebrow threading is a popular method of hair removal originating in Asia. In more recent times, eyebrow threading has gained popularity in Western countries, especially with cosmetic application. Threading is a method for removing and shaping eyebrows.

In eyebrow threading, a thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled, then twisted. The thread is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair in one swipe.

Methods of threading include the hand method, mouth method and neck. It has been noted that the mouth holding method is the fastest and most precise.

The benefits of threading? This process allows for a more defined and precise shape to the eyebrows and can create better eyebrow definition. Threading can also be used as a method of removing unwanted hair from the entire face and upper lip.
