LET’S GET SHOE REAL: STILETTOS AND HIGH HEELS GIVE A “LIFT” TO HOW YOU FEEL!

Ah, the beauty and allure of stilettos and high heels rates tops in women’s shoes, in my foot fashion opinion. The elevated heel presents a look that is elegant, classy and makes a difference in how you feel.

A shoe is an item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the human foot while the wearer does various activities. Shoes are also used as an item of decoration and fashion! The foot fetish fashion! Although the design of shoes varies through time and from culture to culture, appearance is often tied to function. However, as is always the way with fashion and style, fashion often dictates shoe design elements (flat sole, high heels, patent leather pumps, sandals, boots, etc.).

High heeled footwear raises the heel of the wearer’s foot significantly higher than the toes. When both the heel and the toes are raised in equal amounts (wedges, platforms), it isn’t technically a high heeled shoe, however, there are high heeled platform shoes.

High Heel/Stiletto Fun Fact: High heels tend to give the aesthetic illusion of longer, more slender legs and help accentuate the calf muscles when you walk. High heels come in a wide variety of styles, and are found in many different shapes, including stiletto, pump, block, tapered, blade and wedge.

For a striking, sensual, stunning, fun shoe, only a high heel or stiletto will do!

Stiletto Fun Fact: A stiletto heel is a long, thin, high heel found on boots and shoes. The stiletto heel is named after the stiletto dagger, the phrase being first recorded in the early 1930s. A stiletto heel may vary in length from 1 inch to 10 inches or more if a platform sole is used, however, to me the true definition of a stiletto heel is a heel anywhere between 5 to 10 inches.

Stilettos, like all similar high heeled shoes, give the optical illusion of a longer, slimmer leg, a smaller foot and overall greater height. They alter the wearer’s posture and gait, flexing the calf muscles and making the bust and buttocks more prominent.

Let’s get shoe real: Stilettos and high heels give a “lift” to how you feel!

High Heel Fun Fact: According to high-fashion shoe websites like Jimmy Choo and Gucci, a low heel is considered less than 2.5 inches, while heels between 2.5 inches and 3.5 inches are considered mid heels. All heels higher than 3.5 inches are categorized as high heels. Heels from 4 to 5 inches are considered relatively high heels, while heels that measure 6 inches or more are considered extremely high heels.

Go to extreme heights in high heels that look and feel just right!

Stilettos and high heels are pleasing and sweet – giving off an aura of jewelry for feet!

High heels aren’t a modern invention. Research shows that high heels can be traced back to Ancient Egypt. In the middle of the second millennium BC, Egyptians began to frequently use high heeled sandals.

During the 16th century, European royalty, such as Catherine de Medici and Mary I of England, started wearing high heeled shoes to make them look taller and larger than life.

Brush away the cares and stress of your daily life and allow your high heels and stilettos to walk you away from your strife!

Positive Aesthetic Effects of Wearing High Heels and Stilettos:

  1. The shoe changes the angle of the foot with respect to the lower leg, which accentuates the appearance of the calves.
  2. The shoe changes a woman’s posture, requiring a more upright carriage and altering the gait in what is considered a seductive fashion.
  3. The wearer appears taller.
  4. The legs appear longer.
  5. The foot appears smaller.
  6. The toes appear shorter.
  7. The arches of the feet are elevated and bring better definition.
  8. They look absolutely gorgeous and add style, pizzazz and oomph to any outfit!

Various Types of High Heels:

  1. Cone
  2. Kitten
  3. Platform
  4. Prism
  5. Pump
  6. Puppy
  7. Spike
  8. Stiletto
  9. Spool
  10. Viennese
  11. Wedge

Walk your way into a magical sea of fabulous shoes when only a stiletto or high heeled shoe will do!

What type of heel will interest you?

High Heel Fun Fact: In terms of design, high heels can be seen with plain construction or with embellishment. Depending on the design concept, embellishment materials include leather, wood, metal chains, plastic appliques, lace and others. The majority of embellishments are for aesthetic purposes, with some adding functional support.

“I dare say, how do you walk in a heel that is so high?”

“I walk with an air of grace, I feel I can touch the sky.”

“Your high heeled shoes are lovely, they stand out from all the rest.”

“Both in looks and in height. High heels are simply the best.”

“I would try to walk in them but feel I might fall or walk with a tilt.”

“You’d be amazed at how straight your gait will be, you’ll glide like on a stilt!”

High Heels and Stilettos: Longer legs, more height, smaller feet and shorter toes. Are high heeled shoes for you? Only the fashion diva inside of you knows!

Hello, I couldn’t agree more! I always wear 4″+ heels, daily. My only problem is I get a sharp pain just above my heel when I try to go much lower than 4″. But it doesn’t matter too much since I always wear heels anyway.
